How to install stud thyristor (for Russian thyristor T171-250-16 )
1.Reliability of heat transfer and electrical contact between the mating surfaces of the thyristor and cooler over the entire temperature range is ensured by an appropriate torque.
2.Before assembly, you should visually inspect the contact surfaces for mechanical damage and wipe them with calico moistened with alcohol (toluene, gasoline, acetone).
3.To improve heat transfer parameters, before assembly, it is recommended (but not necessary) to lubricate the mating surfaces with a thin layer of organosilicon heat-conducting paste.
4.Upon completion of installation, fasteners (nuts and washers) must be additionally protected from corrosion.
